Pixinguinha é Jazz? O que Billie Holiday tem a ver com Watchmen? Geisa Fernandes apresenta uma aula-show sobre a ligação entre o Jazz e as Histórias em Quadrinhos. Acompanhada  do violão de sete cordas de Kevin Shortall, a cantora, compositora e pesquisadora brasileira une música e imagens para falar sobre a longa convivência entre o gênero musical e a Nona Arte. 

O evento faz parte da programação do Dia Internacional do Jazz, comemorado em 30 de Abril e contou com o apoio da Livraria Ponte e da Nitcomics.

Geisa Fernandes presents Comics and Jazz

Pixinguinha is Jazz? What does Billie Holiday have to do with Watchmen? Geisa Fernandes presents a show-class on the connection between Jazz and Comics. Accompanied by Kevin Shortall on the seven-string guitar, the Brazilian singer, songwriter and researcher brings together music and images to talk about the long coexistence between the musical genre and the Ninth Art.

The event is part of the International Jazz Day program, celebrated on April 30th and had the support of Livraria Ponte and Nitcomics.
